I was born in Columbia, Pennsylvania, to wonderful Christian parents. I am one of five children, two brothers and two sisters. I graduated from Valley Forge Christian College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education.  In 1980, I moved to Florida, where I taught at The King’s Academy in West Palm Beach for six years. I continued my education by taking a Language Arts course at Florida Atlantic University and four Continuing Education courses at Palm Beach Atlantic College.  I am married to Roy McCallister and have a daughter named Sarah.  I began teaching at First Assembly Christian School in 1992. In 1994, I became the Assistant Principal, and for the past ten years, I have taught 6-8th grade English. I am now the Principal at First Assembly Christian School, and I consider it an honor and a privilege to serve in this capacity.

 My husband, Kelly, and I have three lovely daughters and three beautiful grandsons. Our family has attended First Assembly of God for approximately 16 years. During this time, I have volunteered in various areas including preschool and children's church, Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and Missionettes.   For five years, I served on the Board of Directors for Christian Home Educators Association of Marion County ( C.H.E.A.). It is a great privilege to work with your children, who are "precious gifts from God".
